Jabra Elite 75t vs. Elite 65t vs Elite 45e: Which one to choose?

Jabra Elite 65t is a great wireless headphone with a nice and versatile design. They have some shortcomings, but they are not particularly critical and do not overlap all the advantages of the device. Sound quality and runtime make the Jabra Elite 65t a good choice for everyday use.

Among other TWS headphones, this is a very interesting alternative to AirPods if you need a plug-in model with passive noise isolation. They connect quickly, there were no malfunctions, good sound quality, convenient controls and the application as a whole. At a cost of 180 USD, this is a good offer – the price is similar to the second-generation AirPods and it is clear who they want to compete within Jabra.

The Jabra Elite Active 45e will not strike your mind with super-high sound quality, will not withstand a 12-hour marathon and will not offer a cool charging case. But, on the other hand, I can’t find weighty arguments to stop someone from buying them if it comes to rational reasons. 45e are extremely comfortable, they are sensationally in your ears, play loudly, let in enough noise from the outside, have a good battery and do not cause problems during use.

They played around five hours, and it turned out to charge them from the case two and a half times. I really liked the opportunity to charge the headphones for 1.5 hours in 15 minutes. The headphone case took about 2 hours to charge.

The case gives an additional 28 hours of work, fast charging is supported, 15 minutes in the case – an hour of music.

9 hours declared time without recharging, which must withstand 45e. I would have deducted about an hour here, as I always listen to music very loudly, although the result is still excellent. At the same time, the point is not only that you can train for 8-9 hours without a break to recharge the battery.

Using the Jabra Elite 65t as a headset also showed a good result. Thanks to the system of 4 microphones, the interlocutor clearly heard me, while I was in a noisy environment, and, of course, I could also hear him well.

There is no active noise reduction system here, but there is a very good transparency mode, it perfectly enhances the voices of people nearby, you can even eavesdrop.

The Elite Active 45e intentionally lets in a bit of noise outside so you don’t accidentally get caught in the bus or tram.

With daily use, the headphones showed themselves on the excellent side, there was no discomfort from them for long listening or during sports. After a few minutes, you get used to the low weight of the device and forget that it is in your ears. It is especially pleasant that there is no cable in the cable design and there is nothing to cling to clothes, and also it does not need to be untangled before use.

I didn’t feel any wearing problems, I used the Elite 75t constantly in the office for several days. I advise you to put the nozzles of medium size, by default they are small – well, but better, of course, try each nozzle and then make a decision.

I ran for hours in them, listening to music, even in the mountains, and – with the exception of one case – I did not feel the slightest discomfort caused by the Jabra Elite Active 45e in my ears.

Sound + is worth talking about separately. With it, you can significantly change the sound of the headphones. There are five equalizer sliders, each of which is responsible for its own range, if you want more bass, drag the Bass slider up, less down, and for those who do not want to bother with this, there are six preset settings.

In general, the Jabra Elite 75t sound good with different music. By the way, the quality of voice transmission was also pleasant; talking is quite comfortable both on the street and in the office (of course, it is much better to hear in the office).

To be more precise – they sound loud, which is important not only during training but also when listening to audiobooks. They also have enough bass and decent treble, although here I can’t get myself to write about an element of sound character with enthusiasm. On the other hand, I can’t write too much about the quality of the outgoing sound, given that these are sports and training headphones.

FINAL VERDICT: If you are limited on budget, Jabra Elite 65t is the perfect option.

Jabra Elite 65t is a great wireless headphone with a nice and versatile design. They have some shortcomings, but they are not particularly critical and do not overlap all the advantages of the device. Sound quality and runtime make the Jabra Elite 65t a good choice for everyday use.

If you’re not interested in Apple’s AirPods Pro or the similarly expensive Powerbeats Pro, the Jabra Elite 75t earbuds are yet again slotting in as the default alternate pick. There are other options, but none with the same number of upsides. The Jaybird Vistas cost about the same and come in a wonderfully compact carrying case, but they don’t sound as good. Amazon’s Echo Buds are cheaper and have Bose’s noise reduction technology, but they can’t pair with two gadgets at the same time. The competition is only going to grow fiercer over the next few months, so Jabra will have a harder time staying at the top of the pile, but aside from adding active noise cancellation and wireless charging, it doesn’t have much higher to climb
