Apple has officially announced its iPhone 14 special launch event which is set to take place on September 7, 2022.
The event is tagged Far Out. The iPhone 14 Series will be the star of the event. Apart from the iPhone 14 series the giant tech company will likely unveil three new models of the Apple Watch at the September events.
These Apple Watch Models are likely to be
- Apple Watch Series 8
- Apple Watch Pro and
- Apple Watch SE 2
The Apple Pro watch is a new addition to the Apple watch catalogue. It is a new Model specially designed to have longer battery life, and improved durability. It is rumored to have the much-anticipated satellite functions.
This satellite function may also be available in the upcoming iPhone 14. This satellite function rumoured to be present in both the Apple Watch Pro and iPhone 14 series will allow users to report emergencies in areas without cellular service.
One unique feature that distinguishes the Apple Watch Pro from the other class of Apple Watch is the material from which it is made. The new Apple Pro Watch is rumoured to be made from a more durable formulation of titanium. The other models of the Apple Watch Series are available in aluminium, stainless steel, and titanium. This new upgrade can be attributed to Apple’s efforts to make it as rugged as possible for sports lovers involved in high-impact activities like hiking.
The product is mainly targeted at those who do extreme sports judging from its design.
A report from Mac Otara confirmed that the Apple Watch Pro will feature flat edges (compared to other models with slightly curved edges) and a larger 47mm case size that will strengthen its durability. The watch is also specially designed to detect body temperature changes higher than normal body temperature through a temperature sensor. The user will is alerted about this change.
Pricing is still to be determined, but given that titanium Apple Watch models presently start at $799 in the United States, a starting price of between $799 and $999 seems plausible to assume.
